The Windwood Swim Team Board welcomes returning families to another swim season and encourages others to join our team! All Windwood Swim & Tennis Club Members in good standing between the ages of 4 and 18 are invited to join. The season begins with practice towards the end of May and concludes at the end of July at the Tri-County League championships at Miami University. To participate, your child will need the ability to swim one length of the pool without stopping before the first swim meet. We will hold a registration "Open House" at the pool on Sat., May 7th from 10am to 1pm; this is the second of the two club workdays. We will have our parent information packet and meet schedule, and board members will be available for questions. We will also introduce the swimmers to some of our coaches on this day. We encourage anyone considering the swim team to stop by and check us out.

We are so lucky to have Mike Pellissier back for his EIGHTH season as our Head Coach. Mike has extensive experience working with all age groups and is currently an Assistant Swim Coach and science teacher at Lakota West. We are so lucky to have a Head Coach with the level of experience that Mike brings to the pool.

Our swim program depends on volunteer commitment. Kelly Huster will be in charge of volunteers this year, and will let each family know exactly how many jobs they will need to fulfill. Volunteering at a swim meet can be easy and fun! We need parents to help with timing, scoring, officiating, working concessions, and organizing and helping at social events. Come to our open house to learn more about the volunteer opportunities. We are always looking to add to our wonderful group of Officials. The swim team will cover the cost of officials training. If you are interested in learning more about the sport and want to always have a front row view at meets, this is a good opportunity for you.
